The purpose of the blog

Anything worth doing, is worth doing badly. You might have heard me say this during our session. Well, in an effort to not re-invent the wheel every time we meet I'm going to spend some time writing about the themes, concepts, and techniques that come up each day in session.
You have a password because I'm not going to edit very much. This means, I'm not really interested in having it shared or seen by strangers, yet. Think of this as a record of our work together that might be helpful to revisit, or useful to someone else in an entirely different situation. One reason I don't write to publish is because I have a terrible fear of being misunderstood and unintentionally hurting someone.
But I would like your feedback. If I get good feedback, or can make an idea clearer through your questions and comments, I can know what is hitting home and might need a little energy to make palpable for public consumption. In other words, to eventually publish.
I understand that if we want to really help ourselves and others to change, then we need to take some risks. Sometimes misunderstandings are a natural part of the process. Actually, essential to the process, because you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.
That said, I will never reveal anything personal that we discuss. Like I said, it will be themes, concepts, and techniques. If I have an example it will be with a completely fictional character. A fictional character that may or may not have come from a free associative space in my unconscious inspired by you, or one of my cousins.
